I miss the innocence of our youth.

I accept that our generation is progressing and that we’re the influence of those who are younger than us, but there are so many times I wish I could go back to how things used to be. When you didn’t have to drink, smoke, or do drugs to have fun. When 12 years olds weren’t already getting pierced and tatted. When good music didn’t have to involve fuck bitches, get money, smoke weed. When sex meant doing it with the person you love, not so many times you can’t even remember. What happened to innocence? Everything was cute and pure. It was all about Disney and focusing on having a good, successful future and hanging out with your friends without getting shitfaced or wasted. Sorry to be a downer, but nowadays everything is so raunchy and corrupt. We’re influenced to believe that the fast life is the “cool” way to go. Worst of all, all this stuff is made to look like it’s normal and perfectly okay just because a majority of our society follows it. I wish there was a way to fix whatever went wrong. The generations can only go downhill from here, and I can’t possibly imagine how much worse it can get. It’s really depressing honestly.
